Serious Phonque project helmed by Gary Alesbrook, arguably the best trumpeter in Bristol and employed in that capacity by Kasabian, Noel Gallagher, Super Furry Animals, Scissor Sisters, etc. You get the picture? Yes we see… We arranged this on the phone so didn’t write any of the other names down, but there will be major premier league muso pals along for the trip, you can be assured. Gary’s last Funk project was the ferocious Backyard, if this is a quarter as good as that (and the chances are very good) it’ll be a truly memorable night out.
