Cooler Festival 2012! The new direction

Hi Everyone

Let me start by introducing myself. I’m Doug Eason, I run a music facilitation company in Bath called Lost Legion Records.

Recently I had a chat with Dave Baldock, the brains behind Cooler Festivals for the last 4 years. David has very kindly passed the Cooler Festival on to my team and I, but is remaining on-board in an advisory capacity, which we are very grateful for.

Together, my team and I have worked with some of the best up-and-coming acts in the UK and are looking forward to taking the festival in a new direction that will see greater focus being put on the amazing musical talents we have here in Bath, but also bringing notable acts from the national circuit to Bath. Already, some of the best talent of 2012 have signed up to be part of The Cooler Festival 2012, but I’m not giving away any secrets just yet.

A change of pace for Innes and his bass player Steve, yet no loss of quality or excitement. Some great versions of his classics then a few friends joined in the playing to the delight of the audience. More pics from Alan Jones.

Innes Sibun Confirmed

Innes Sibun

Innes in action

The Innes Sibun band are now confirmed for the Festival finale on Sunday 16th of October. This is a great addition for all fans of virtuoso blues playing. What do people say of him;

His playing isn’t indulgent and he has the perfect wracked and aching wail of a voice with which to deliver his stories of love gone wrong …………..this is superior stuff. Sibun lives and breathes the blues… – Jeremy Searle – ROCK’n'REEL MAY/JUNE

Don’t take his and my word for the fact that Innes is such a brilliant performer. Have a look at this and all the other videos on YouTube etc.
